Not The Day I Expected

Today was overcast and gloomy.

I tried to enjoy time in the window.

But ultimately it was...

And then it turned to...

Which is where I stayed most of the day.

Mom tried to get me to play.

I was only somewhat interested.

Then this guy showed up I'd never met before.

But Mom and Daddy seemed happy to see him.

It turns out he's family.

I guess I'll accept him being here.

He seems nice enough.

I tried to show him how awesome I am by running

around the house.

But it didn't phase him.

I suspect this means I'm not getting a nighttime walk.

I guess I'll just try to enjoy Mom's lap.
