Lazy Mode

Today started off in the window.
I greeted Mom...

Then watched the outdoors show.

It was raining.
That put me into Lazy Mode.

Later, Monday Aunt and another girl came over
to watch Doctor Who with Mom and Daddy.

I spent most of that time sleeping in
my Ultimate Box of Rebellion.

Then I came down and graced Monday Aunt with my presence.

Then she left.

So I sat in the chair all alone.

After a short while I moved to the back of the couch.

Eventually Mom curled up on the couch,
so I snuggled in behind her knees.

Mom and Daddy left me for a couple of hours.
When they got home I could smell Nice Boy on them.

Then Auntie and Uncle came over!

I sat in my Box of Rebellion.
(The regular one)

Auntie tried to get me to play.

Um...Auntie...
It's been raining all day.
I am in no mood to do anything!

Fair Weather Day

Today wasn't too bad.

It was nice outside,
so I was happy to go get the mail with Mom.
Every few steps I stopped to roll on the sidewalk.

I took it slow.

But Mom became impatient and carried me to the mailbox.

I was faster on the way back,
but cars kept driving by, making me nervous.

I got over it and regained my cool.

When we got home Mom messed with my world.
First she took away my litter box for awhile.
That made me uneasy,
but she brought it back, nice and clean.
Then she trimmed the catnip plant.
OK, I have to admit, this was good.
She gave me all the trimmings and I indulged.

After I calmed down, I went up to my
Ultimate Box of Rebellion.

For no reason other than I thought Mom and Daddy
were going to take me somewhere.
They didn't.
They left me.

While they were gone there was no one but Mimzy
to keep me company and watch me eat.

When they finally came home I got right
to work begging to go out.

You think I'm just enjoying my reflection here, Mom?

Think again!

Taking My Time

Today I took my time with everything.

I was in no hurry.

Mom came and pulled me from my window
to go get the mail.

Of course, we stopped at the office to visit
the two Nice Ladies.

They were happy to see me as usual.
Mom didn't have the camera because it needed charging.
So I took advantage of not being filmed.
I was really cute and content in the office.

I wandered around and smelled everything.
Especially this box behind Nice Lady 1's desk.
I did not want to leave.
Mom actually had to call me again and again.

I finally went home and enjoyed the nice day.

Before I knew it that guy came and took Mom away again!
It's not the right day for that!
I thought the teenagers were coming here!
I got a nice quiet evening with Daddy instead.
But I missed Mom.

Daddy had to go to bed early and
Mom wasn't home yet!

Then finally she came home!

But she smelled weird.
I mean, she had all kinds of smells on her!
Mostly she smelled like campfire, though.

I thought,
'If you've been outside all night when's my turn?'

But she said she was too tired.
I suppose I'll just be happy she's home.

When Are We Going to DO Something?

Today started off normal.

Then Nice Boy came and took Mom away.
When they came home, Daddy was soon to follow.

I curled up in Daddy's lap for a bit.
Surely it was safe today.
I was there for about an hour before Mom stood up
to take a photo...
can you believe she tripped again?!
I really think she's doing it out of jealousy.

I stayed on the back of the couch where it was safe.

But then Mom took a nap and I couldn't resist
 to snuggle with her.

If I'm on her lap she can't trip and scare me!

Of course, daytime is just that thing
I have to wait through until it's time for
a nighttime walk.

So let the whining commence!

I want to go out this door...

Must I repeat myself?

I'm only sitting on this chair meowing...

until you take me outside!

Please, Mom!

Again...
I'm only sitting on this chair
until you take me outside!

This is getting tiresome, Mom!

I'll give you until the blog is done,
but then I'm going to remind you that we
haven't even been to check the mail today!

Mostly Good

Today was nice...mostly.
I started out in the bedroom window.

What was that? ... Oh. Nothing.

Yep.  This is good!

We made the usual trip to the mail and office.
Mom talked to Nice Lady 2 for quite awhile.
I didn't mind.

When we got home I had a great roll on the sidewalk.

Of course, it's Wednesday.
So that guy came and took Mom away.

But it wasn't long before Daddy got home.
I was curled up on a dining room chair.
Daddy gave me some loving!
I was so happy I rolled and squirmed.

Then it happened.

I rolled right off the chair!
Then my paw got caught in the chair!
I didn't make it to the ground.
I hung there by my front paw!
MeOWWW!

Daddy helped me right away,
but I had to run and hide because
I was so overcome with emotion.

Daddy felt bad.
That's two days in a row when I was
trying to snuggle with Daddy and something
went horribly awry.

Eventually he went to get Mom.
Then Daddy took me for a walk!

Mom came too,
but Daddy did the leash holding.

I walked around the building and went in the front.

Then we went out the back again.

I had some tasty plant.

Back inside, I went into
the Box of Rebellion
before Daddy could take off the harness and leash.

Now that that's done....

Nighttime walk please!

Not Busy Day

Today I didn't want to get my day going.

Nope.
Don't wanna get going.

I did pretty much nothing all day.
Mom didn't even take me to the mailbox.

At night I settled in Daddy's lap. Not Mom's.

Then Mom tripped over my tunnel box and crushed it.
I got scared and jumped out of Daddy's lap.
I think she did that because she was jealous.

Then I pouted for awhile, staring at the back door.

Then I started meowing to get Mom's attention.

I made her follow me.

We all know I need someone to watch over
me while I eat.

Since I got what I wanted that time...
I tried again.
This time I asked for a nighttime walk.

It worked!
Harness on!

Door open!

Victory!

I don't want you to think I'm content with that.

We weren't out there long enough.
So I started meowing loudly for more!

You were doing so well, Mom!
